In the first quarter of 2025, the top navigation and maps applications on the Android platform in Qatar showcased diverse performance trends, according to Sensor Tower data.

Waze Navigation & Live Traffic observed a steady increase in weekly downloads, peaking at approximately 4.5K by the end of March. Meanwhile, weekly active users began the quarter at 154K, rising to about 178K by the end of the quarter.

Muslim Prayer - Qibla Compass saw a significant boost in downloads mid-quarter, reaching 2.7K in late February before stabilizing around 773 by the end of March. Active users increased from 2.9K to 4.9K during this period, with occasional revenue peaks of up to $2.

Google Earth maintained a consistent download rate, with a slight increase to 745 downloads by the end of March. Active users fluctuated slightly, beginning at 1.9K and closing the quarter at a similar level.

QPLACES (ADDRESSES OF QATAR) experienced a notable rise in downloads, beginning with 35 in early January and peaking at 603 by the end of March.
